[SMM Lead Midday Review: Suppliers Narrow Discounts, Downstream Enterprises Show Slightly Better Purchasing Willingness Due to Falling Lead Prices] SMM reported on March 18: Today, the SMM 1# lead average price dropped by 75 yuan/mt compared to yesterday, reaching 17,300 yuan/mt. Secondary refined lead suppliers followed the market trend, slightly narrowing discounts due to the rising prices of raw material scrap batteries. Mainstream supplies were offered at discounts of 75-50 yuan/mt ex-factory against the SMM 1# lead price.

Today, the SMM 1# lead average price dropped by 75 yuan/mt compared to yesterday, reaching 17,300 yuan/mt. Secondary refined lead suppliers followed the market trend, slightly narrowing the discount due to the rising price of raw material scrap batteries. Mainstream supplies were offered at a discount of 75-50 yuan/mt ex-factory against the SMM 1# lead price. Today's ex-factory quotes for tax-exclusive refined lead in the market ranged from 16,200 to 16,300 yuan/mt. Downstream battery producers maintained restocking based on rigid demand, and refined lead transactions were slightly better than yesterday due to the decline in lead prices.
